Join Fabio on his return back to Italy in the region of Umbria, known as the wilder version of Tuscany, a landscape surrounded by hills, valleys and forests, characterized by the Appennini’s mountains and the largest waterfall in Europe, all in a region rich in Roman and Medieval history.
At the tail end of the summer, basking in the special light of the Italian countryside, we will be spending 9 nights/ 10 days in a typical Italian Agriturismo, filled with rustic charm and famous for its organic delicious food. We will be doing two Yoga practices a day and enjoying the bounty of the land and the local culture, by partaking in a handmade pasta making course and wine tasting. We will visit Assisi, with its rich spiritual aura, discovering the little cobblestone alleys of the Medieval villages, tasting Perugia’s most famous chocolate along the way. |

In the midst of this retreat, we will spend 3 days lightly trekking the very special “The Silent Villages Walk” hidden off the beaten track, carrying only a day pack, and sleeping those 3 nights amidst the unspoiled and preserved ancient villages whose walls are surrounded by forests of holm oaks and chestnut trees. This wild setting is known for its deep silence, stilling and nourishing the senses.
This is the perfect opportunity to travel to a destination that offers both natural beauty and a rich culture and history, whist maintaining your practice and restoring your health and wellbeing with Fabio’s lead.
We will be holding an Information Session on Sunday 16 November.

Please note: Due to the boutique nature of the accommodation, we have very limited number of rooms. Rooms are double or triple share, single rooms at extra cost, depend on availability.
During the 3 day walk, all rooms are double rooms.

Our Cancellation Policy:
Please note that all deposits to hold a place for each person are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Unless alternative arrangements are made, the booking is secured when full payment is received. We will email you a confirmation letter.
At Saffron Rose, we understand that unforeseen and unfortunate things may happen that would call for a cancellation of a booking. As sorry as we may be for those circumstances, we will happily refund the following, irrespective of your place being filled:
• 80% of the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit for cancellations up to 90 days prior to the commencement of the retreat
• 50% of the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit for cancellations up to 60 days prior to the commencement of the retreat.
There will be no refunds for cancellations in the last 60 days prior to the commencement of the retreat.
* Please do note that for international retreats, trekking companies and tourist tickets may also charge a cancellation fee which will need to be accounted for alongside the Saffron Rose deposit before we calculate and issue refunds.
* We do ask you to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes, mishaps, or loss during the program as you will be asked to sign a non-liability form both from Saffron Rose and our tour and host companies.
* Saffron Rose reserves the right to refuse certain participants.
